What is your favorite ab exercise?

What ab exercises do you like that best? Which ones are the most effective for BUILDING ab muscles?

The best ab exercise in my opinion is the hanging knee raise. This exercise is actually rather difficult, but you want it to be. When doing this exercise remember to do it slowly, plus this keeps you from swinging. You can also twist as you bring up your knees to work you obliques. I did these religiously for a couple months before spring break along with a good diet and regular exercise and ended up going to Mexico with a 8 pack. The link below shows animation of someone doing them, but they are much more productive if your gym has arm straps because your hands don't get tired first.
