Are the ab machines sold on shoptv effective?

I got a big gut and I want to take it off, how can I do this?

I have heard a great tip about abs lately. A "six-pack" is made in the kitchen. More than two days a week of abs workout is overkill and can actually retard the muscle from growing. I hear that the best way is to get plenty of cardio exercise in general (your body does not know how to lose weight in just one spot). Keep your diet in check with your calories expended. Stay away from processed sugary/starchy foods and keep lots of lean meat, veggies and fats in your diet. Drink lots of water, don't drink pop and mostly watch the beer. Switch to red wine instead…it has other health benefits anyway.

Most do something for you but to achieve washboard abs you need diet also. We all actually have those muscles, but they are hidden behind pounds of fat….

Cut the fat lose the weight and you will find that you dont have to work that hard to look good
