Is it okay to do ab workouts everyday?

I have heard that ab and lower back excersises can be done everyday, but I recently read that abs should be treated like any other muscle, therefore you should allow a day for them to rebuild in between workouts. Which is correct?

3-4 times a week is more effective.

    always give yourself a day of rest to be safe..especialy for the back, you dont want to hurt yourself…
