what are the best lower ab workout?

what ab workouts will give you defined abs especially lower abs without a machine like just by special cruches or with a stability ball? thanks!

definately leg lifts. lay on your back and lift your legs 6 inches off the ground all the while breathing. that is key.

another one is to lay on your stomach and rest your body on your forearms and then lift up. like a push up but your forearms stay on the flat ground. put your toes up and hold while breathing for as long as you can.

stomach cruches are great. like a sit up, but you only come up half way.

For the lower abs, reverse crunches are good if you have a weak back or back problems. Leg lifts like a few other have said are good too, just don't arch your back. You can do lots of variations of leg lifts like flutter kicks, scissors, full leg raises, etc. Crunches while laying on the stability ball are awesome for the upper abs.

    Good luck!
