I go out jogging every day for about 30 minutes. Sometimes, I get absolutely horrible cramps in my stomach that force me to walk because they hurt so badly. My question about these cramps has a few parts.
a. What is actually happening inside my body when i get these cramps?
b. What causes the cramps? (breathing, eating before exercise?)
c. What can i do to prevent them?
d. Once i get them, is there any way to make them go away while i'm out on my run?
Thank you very much!
I do that, and realized when i run on the beach it doesn't happen. So theres two reasons: one eating too much before and two breathing wrong.
The only way i've fiured out how to stop them is taking deep breaths.

It depends… if you eat too soon before you go jogging, or drink too much fluids [including water] before or during jogging, that could cause cramps. Other than that, I don't know what else could cause this.
