People normally look at nutrition facts on food. if they find that the nutrition facts are reasonable, they eat it. but what happens if the food has high sucrose corn syrup.
does it matter what ingridients a food has or nutrition facts. because most people don’t bother about ingredients unless they have an allergy.
i read both always!!!!!

I'm doing a project on Hospital food. Anyone knows or knows where to find the nutrition facts of hospital food?
You might want to visit your local hospital and speak to the manager of the cafeteria. A hospital might even have a dietitian on hand who manages meals for certain patients.

it is very important to read the label. if the product contains trans fats, it should be avoided. some packed foods are not recommended for people having allergies so it is an imp. part there..

are they hiding something?
Could it be they don't WANT you to know how un-healthy their food really is?

why or why not?
thanks
I think so. Food nutrition information is required by law to be printed on food products we purchase in the grocery store, so shouldn't it be visible at places we eat food products as well? It's important to know what we're putting into our bodies and some foods are deceiving. Just because you eat a salad, doesn't mean it's healthy. Look at some of the stuff fast food places put on salads…fried or grilled chicken, for example. Sometimes, the burgers are healthier! If we can see the info, it helps us to make informed, healthier choices.

should i eat less calories?
less carbs?
what does it mean by cholesteral 5%
If I were you look out for the bad kind of each group
for sugar check for high fructose corn syrup which is very bad
for fat look for saturated fat and trans fat these are bad
cholesterol gets a bbad rep and is actually healthy if not taken in to much
Make sure the serving sizes are not tiny and tricking you
Overall try to reduce calories to 1900 to 2100 calories a day
