Eating Was A Problem For Me

My weight started to become an issue when the amount of exercise that I was getting started to decrease because of other things that took its place when I became a teenager and young adult.

I did not have a certain thing that I had to eat. I tended to turn to things that were high in fat and calories. But my overall diet included things from all of the major food groups. The problem I had was that I always ate too much. My town was full of all you can eat specials and I was not happy that I was well known at all of them. It was time to face the fact that the food addiction I had was the real problem and it would have to be faced. Unless I changed the way I thought, I would not be able to commit myself to making the right choices on a regular basis.

I have not been perfect in my program. I have had some successes and a few failures. But the weight is coming off. The way that I thought about food had changed. I had found the proper place for food in what I did. It is not my whole life. I will reach my goal of a healthy weight. How long it takes is not important. I am sure that I will get the job done this time.
