I have hit a mental block while doing my thesis on cancer and nutrition:
My headings are as follows: Nutrition and Cancer Prevention (what foods will help prevent cancers and how?) Nutrition during treatment (what foods can help the treatment work effectivly or ease the discomfor of the treatment) and Nutrition and Recovery (what foods aid the recovery process)
Can anyone give me any websites that will help me?

Ok so for Foods class, we have to find a article relating to nutrition and write a paragraph summary on the article. I cannot find a good, relatively easy article to do. Will you please help me find one? By the way its for eighth grade. Thanks!

I'm not really very familiar with nutrients and which ones do what and what foods carry those nutrients, etc. Does anyone have some resources you could recommend…a website preferably. Though I'm not opposed to purchasing a book, but only if it rocks.

I'm about 5'6 i weigh about 146 pds Mostly in my abs and hips I would like to flatten my abs and hips and I am about to purchase a gym membership too. Can someone recommend a good diet and routain to follow for slimming the abs especially. I want to know what kind of meals to eat or what I should be eating morning noon and night.
Just eat lots of veggies and fruit. Drink lots of water. Cut out caffine and sodas. Sodas are terrible anyway. It is hard to do, but if you are really dedicated than you won't have trouble. Eat 6 meals a day instead of three - smaller portions. Do loads of crunches. Do them at home in the morning or in the evening everyday. See if you can work up to 300. The gym will help with everything else. Good luck!

Im interested in the folling carrer pathes but i dont know much about them. I want to work on a higher level such as managment or coorporate, but i would enjoy being like a personal trainer or sales rep. in the beginging. I would like to do something where i could advance fairly quickly, help others, embed my healthy lifestyle with my work, earn decent money,and im about to choose a major for college what should I choose?

I am a sales rep for a nutritional company, I would be happy to send you some more information. I couldn't tell you what major to choose exactly, I have a degree in Marketing and I love it! Being a sales rep/distributor might not be what you want to do the rest of your life, but this would give you a chance to get your feet wet and see if you enjoy doing this.

I am studying the effect of mineral depletion in food crop grown on depleted soil and its consequences on health if no supplement is taken to compensate lack of nutients. What diasease will result and how to prevent it? Does it have effect on aging, degenerative diasease and cancer?

something interesting and related to daily life. not to difficult or stupid. is there any project that includes calories, dieting or nutritional value?
something related to this:
how nutritional food labels are read and used on common foods
determine the number of calories in them.
Depends. What do you have to do for the project?
Do something related to vegetarianism. Is it a healthy lifestyle? How much and what kinds of food should a vegetarian consume daily in order to make up the protein?

if this is not true then how come ppl are taller nowadays back then ppl were much shorter now seeing a 6 foot guy is very common…they said were taller cause of better nutrition and exercise…soo how can not being healthy help you get taller?
Exersize will not nessarly help you get taller but good nutrition will. A lack of nutrition during childhood and the teenage years will result in stunted growth, as will smoking cigeretss (which deforms developing lungs) and large amounts of alcholol (which damages the liver and the brain) and consuming caffeine, which causes week bones. The average man in the middleage europe was 5'5", due to lack of food and proper nutrition.
