There are no crutons or cheese on this salad, just fyi.
Go to the TGIF near you and ask for their nutrition guide. Even Burger King hands them out on request!

iv read a lot about nutriton and cancer. id love to help people learn too. id love to be personally involved with helping people get better form cancer. theres no money in it for me. the things i'll tell you about cant be patented and theres thousands of companys world wild selling them. most of it you can by in your friut and vegetable shop. im doing it for love.
yea for those who looked at my answer about leukemia , i apolagize cuz i shoudnt have wrote that that way. i dont know the cure i just heard that that does cure it. but i dont know cuz i never seen it. i dont have experence directy, so i dont know , so im sorry.
Your ideas about leukemia are so far away from reality that if you really want to help people with cancer then you should volunteer to be a candy striper or wheel chair aid at your local hospital instead of talking about subjects where you have no real knowledge.
Cancer is hundreds of very complex diseases and will not be treated or cured by someone who read a few books about cancer and now believes they are able to give medical advice with life and death implications. If you are really doing this for love, then love people with cancer enough to not fill their minds with BS about cancer being an easily treatable illness using supplements, fruits and vegetables.
I hope you never have cancer but if you ever do then save these healing techniques of yours for when it is your life on the line and then you can truly be responsible for the repercussions of your own actions.

Hi, I am not fit, but I just figured out that I am really overweight and that whatever cardio that I have been doing is not working, one bit.
On top of that I have no idea of what nutrition is or how to treat my body right and work out at the same time. I know soda and chips are bad, and I know that cardio and weight machines help, but I am confused as to how. HOW?
Homeopathic Treatment for Excessive Fat and Weight :-
PHYTOLACCA BERRY's Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don't get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. And after loosing weight with this you don't get flabby it tightens up the flab and skin along with helping your body to shed the excessive accumulation of fat around the girth
The dosage is 15 to 20 drops of the tincture in half a cup of hot water thrice a day half hour before or after meals.
Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints, Red Meat and Carbonated and Alcoholic drinks while taking Homeopathic Medicines. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results.
To the best of my knowledge its the safest and the most sure fire way of loosing fat and weight and keeping it of for keeps. Excellent remedy for Obese people who cant seem to shed weight despite trying.
Homeopathic Remedies can be found at all Major Herbal Stores or could be bought on line, In most of the world Homeopathic remedies are quite cheap and easy to find and they do not need a prescription.
Take care and God Bless !

concerned that my son really does not eat enough for a start, but on top of that he is a very active child.he does something every night and all weekend in particular dance classes and intensive gymnastics training.looking for nutrition information/diet plans that my 10 year old can read and understand how much he needs to eat to train this hard and not become ill and grow properly.
You should start by talking to his various coaches and trainers and see what they recommend. If you can't get something concrete from them, it would probably be worth it for you to invest in a session or two with a nutritionist, one that's worked with children before. She can explain the plan to YOU in adult detail and to your son in ways he can understand. You'll probably learn something too.

Does anyone know what year McDonald's started serving salads? If possible, I'd also like to know the year when fast food restaurants started serving salads in general.
Let me sum it up
for all your information go to http://www.mcdonalds.com/usa/eat/quality0.html.
and too answer your questions.
Techniqually the first "McDonald's" Salad was actually a sandwich called the McDLT and started in 1990.
The other salad was Fruit and Walnut salad at Mcdonald's was created in 2005.
The first salad served was aired in the 18th century, and was called Salmagundi, or "Chef's Salad"

The paper is to be 4-5 pages long and I have to use five resources (not all online). My thesis idea is something about how consumers can choose the best food for their dogs, without having a degree in canine nutrition. I can't figure out how to narrow the topic down. Any ideas?
Hey there!
You have to have three major reasons why consumers can choose the best food for their dogs, without having a degree in canine nutrition. Find out what they are, then fill in these blanks! It's that easy! Here's the half finsihed thesis!
"Consumers can choose the best food for their dogs without having a degree in canine nutrition because ________________________, ___________________, and_______________________."
Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!

What I mean, I do feel a little guilty about my bad dietary habits and some other things I'll mention. If you have any good suggestions and a good background about nutrition, fitness, and/or pyschology, please give me advice: (I'm a 22-year old male)
-My diet: I'm 6ft 1 tall, 78 kgs. Although my weight seems good to my height, but I'm guilty of eating a lot of fast food, chocolate, and soda drinks. I want to know what amounts & types of food should I concentrate on eating? Especially that I want to start working out, and gain abs. (Please notice that I avoid all alcoholic drinks and pork). And is it necessary to completely stop chocolate consumption? (I love this thing!)
-My fitness: I bought a home gym machine that has the following:
-Biceps and triceps exercises, legs , shoulder, chest and back. How often and long sholud I work out? And what is the best exercise for my stomach & gluteal region?
-My sleeping habits: I tend to sleep very late and wake up very late (I sleep at 7 am and wake up at 2-3 pm), which really affected my college life. Although I don’t drink large amounts of caffeine. I used to sleep at 1-2 am, but now I can’t, I think I ruined my biological clock. What things can I do to sleep at a reasonable time, and enjoy a good, deep sleep?
P.S: This started only lately, although I have nothing “psychological” that could cause it.
My mentality: How can I increase the power and pace of my memory? Especially the short-term one?
Go Vegan. You'll never look back.
Cut out all animal products and sugar.
Get into Fruits and vegetables.
Anybody can do it.
I was a total meat eater 21 years ago. My Father owned a steak shop in Philly, Pa. I eat more cheese steaks than you could shake a stick at.
I knew my health was going down the toilet.
I took a course in Health and Nutrition, but it wasn't your typical nutrition course, it was all vegetarian.
Get yourself some books and get into it.
That's the only body you'll ever have, be good to it.
Hope I helped.
Good Luck.

or is there a more effective nutrition drink available (not by prescription)? Also, do you have any other tips on gaining weight?
My doctor suggested that I get some sort of nutrition drinks, so yeah… Any other suggestions for weight gaining? I'm really underweight and food doesn't help, so I'm not worried about gaining fat mass.
First, supplements are a waste of money.
Take a daily multivitamin with multiminerals.
Second, to gain MUSCLE weight, do weightlifting every other day. Eating only makes you FAT weight.

I need some help. I coach a swimmer (high school girl) who is 5'7" and just over 100 lbs. She does not have an eating disorder but it is very hard for her to gain weight. She wants to put on muscle and her parents help her eat right and is eating extra (of healthy foods; not just fats) and lifting weights for muscle mass but she can't put on weight - in fact, she is losing weight. In daily routine, she has energy but when she is in a race, as soon as she enters the water, her body gets sore and stiff. She is going to the doctor for blood tests (i.e. anemia) but I'm wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions of a) how she can put on muscle/weight through some means besides what she is currently doing and b) how she can avoid the stiffness and immediate soreness she feels when she races. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. She is a wonderful kid and we all want her to succeed like she once was capable of and can do again. Thank you!
Try telling her to take in protein-rich foods or even protein shakes and supplements. Find out her weight and whatever her weight is…that's the minimum amount of grams of protein she should take. For example, if she weights 110 lbs. then she needs more than 110 grams of protein a day! This works really good because I've tried this and I gained 7 pounds of muscle mass and NOT FATS! When it comes to building muscles…PROTEIN is the best. Hope that helps…
