Does anyone actually read the nutrition facts or ingredients on the boxes of products that they buy?
I occasionally read nutrition facts, but not all the time.
i do. people don't often know that a small bag of candy may contain more than one serving in it. that being said, food labels only list the calorie, fat, sugar (etc) content for ONE serving only. you're taking in more of those things by polishing off the whole bag at one time in comparison to portioning it.

I usually do. I just like knowing how much fat, etc. is in the food - vitamin content and so on…

I try as hard as I can never to buy food that's in a box…when you start reading the ingredients and you realize that none of them are actually found in nature (or look vaguely similar to those ingredients found in weed killer)…it's pretty scary.

I all ways do. If you are interested in your well being I suggest you do. You will be surprised by the amount of sodium (salt) that is in most prepared or pack edged foods.

I did when I was on a diet. I counted carbs, fat and protein. It's a real eye opener.

Most of the time, I do. I like knowing how much sugar, fat, and sodium are in the packages or boxes. I don't really bother with the vitamins and minerals info since I take Goji juice and my daily vitamins.

Those persons who have dietary restrictions are much more likely to study the nutrition labels of the products they are interested in. Especially sugar (sucrose) or salt restricted diets must use care in food product selection. Another time that it is important is when food allergies prevent certain foods from being safe to consume. Did you hear about the boyfriend who kissed his peanut allergenic girlfriend…and she died.
You are probably very fortunate to be able to purchase foods that you like without much concern…bon appetite!

I do. I am very concious of the amount of carbs contained in what I purchase. I try to keep my total carb intake around 20-30 a day, so that means I need to read the packages.
