fastest ways to lose weight after having a baby?

i had my baby a month ago and now i need to get back into shape any health/exercise sggestions or diets for losing weight FAST i dont want answers like eat healthy and exercise please be in depth! thanks!

This personally worked for me. Everyone is different though.

Walked 1 hour every other day. I started myself on a high protein diet. The best diet I have found to this day, and it’s been 5 years now, is a diabetics diet. I had gestational diabetes and was put on a diet and I just kept to it. It’s wonderful. I also breastfeed for several weeks and that seemed to help as well. You can get a diabetic diet off online from several websites. The best thing to do is google it and find the one that you think you can stick to the easiest.

Does anyone know of any other ways to lose weight than diet or exercise. And don't say starve yourself or anything like that!!!!

Cut down down how many calories you ingest in one day. I find that usually helps.

I'm 13 yrs. old. I'm 5'7" and 171lbs. My waist is in the 32-34 range, I'm not quite sure. My target weight is about 135lbs. The main parts of my body that are flabby are hips, thighs, chest and my pecks. I want to lose the extra weight as fast as possible, by losing maybe 6lbs/ 2 weeks or 10lbs/month which is a bit much, but I really want it gone. I also want to become more muscular around my chest, such as flattening my hips, losing my belly, and getting close to a six-pack. Are there any fast ways to lose this weight. I don't drink much soda, maybe 2 a week. I do eat a lot of junk though, at school I usually get a pizza (VERY greasy), tater tots/fries (sometimes ranch), a 10 calorie drink (not bad at all, but it is carbonated and is a Ice I think it's called. It's a carbonated flavored drink. It's either that or Propel, and I already cut out the Gatorade. At home, I eat when I'm bored, and eat crap like Mac & Cheese, Grilled Cheese, Pizza, Pizza Sticks, Queso Burritos and other junk.

I got you on this. I had to do this myself. I'm 14, a freshman in hi school and a varsity wrestler. Just do this… join a sports team. one that practices regularly and rigorously. If u can't do that, run everyday… 2 miles. Cut out ALL JUNKFOOD. That includes chips, cookies, deserts, ext. Then cut back on the dairy products. Try to stay away from the white bread and go for whole grain. Don't snack when your bored. Don't eat any fastfood (that stuff u eat @ school is just as bad. if i were you i'd pack a lunch). One last thing…eat lots of protein. O, and hit the gym. The weight room is a great place to bulk up while u loose weight. Also don't forget to drink water…very important.

I would say watch what you eat and exercise. That's what I do. That's effective.

I'm 13 and I already keep a food journal, count calories (trying to stay between 1,000 and 1,500) and work out…a lot. I still need to know some exercises and foods that help you burn fat, though. I am basically living off of smoothies, salads, and sometimes a treat like an eggroll or something but basically mostly salads and smoothies. I'm starting to get tired of them so if anyone has any recipes (that dont include seafood) that are only 300 calories or under will you please post them? Also if anyone can tell me how to lose more weight faster or something I'm doing wrong..please help. Thanx in advance!

I would stop doing the smoothies as there are lots of calories in them; I know because my husband & I tried them for over six months and we did not lose very much weight. And we were still hungry afterwards. What really helped us was Weight Watchers and eating a variety of foods and of course exercise. You need to do aerobic exercise. Your body also needs to have energy (calories) to lose weight and I think you are actually giving yourself too few calories. I would try to up the calorie count a little bit, say to 2000.

Drink your milk with 1 or 2% fat, eat apples and berries (lots of fiber) have some lean meat (like broiled chicken or pork loin), eat oatmeal (not the little packs but the real stuff) for breakfast (my husband swears by it-and he lost lots of weight by having breakfast) have sandwiches with low cal bread and low fat meat or cheese with mustard for lunch and have veggies like brocolli and carrots (broiled or steamed) with your meat for dinner. Do not eat fried foods at all as they will set you back a bit. And lastly, drink your water - you do not talk about that at all and that is probably the most important thing about nutrition and being healthy. It will also keep you feeling fullish. One last thing, I would strongly recommend going to a doctor and a nutritionist to make sure about what you are doing and before you start to do any of these things recommended by anyone on this topic.

i have gained almost 30 lbs. in the past month. i feel horrible so i have joined a soccer team, been eating in BETTER proportions, and been doing evening and morning excercises. i have not seen any results. please give me some pointers and a good excersize plan. i need to lose this weight FAST. I MEAN LIKE IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS.

Lay off simple carbs, sweets, soda or juices and sugars. Stick to lean meats, nuts, veggies, cheeses and lentils. Even the sugars and fruits can hold you back if you are overdosing on fruits to avoid eating veggies. Low fat and fat free means nothing if it's crackers, oreos, ice cream, etc. And eat 3 - 6 well porportioned meals a day - watch serving size. Like 15 almonds… not the whole can. 1 string cheese for a snack. Drink lots of water and tea (no sugar).
p.s. Diahretics (sp) may help moves waste out quickly but they can also make you bloated aka feel fat - not to mention throw off your regular cycle.

There is change of you losing that unwanted weight in 3 weeks. Don't give up, exercise for at least 30-40 minutes a day, brisk walking is great, eat well-balanced meals, and drink plenty of water. Also eat smaller meals and shorten the time-frame, eat a small meal or snack every 3-4 hours this will help boost your metabolism!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

You got some advice from the others…..one thing I'd like to mention……if you fast your metabolism will slow down and you may loose a pound or two, then that's it. It will become better at storing things then burning them….keep the food coming and don't forget the water….lots of it….
