How can i lose weight fast?

I need to lose weight fast. Im going on vaca soon and i have been steadly losing weight but i lost 10 pounds (average 2 pounds a week) and was happy at the progress. However in the last 2 weeks I have not lost anything. I eat the same and exercise the same as in weeks that i lost. Please help with any ideas. I will not use pills or and crazy diet i want to be healthy as i lose the weight.

Ok, i am about 5'7 and 144 pounds and i feel like a cow, im not overweight or anything but my stomach and love handles are huge…i really dont like to exercise because i am liazy and not very athletic and i really cant starve myself because i like food…alot…i eat when im bored which is a big problem…and i hate to count calerioes and crap, how do i lose weight fast and easy?

144 lbs is about the right weight for your height. There are no easy ways to lose weight fast, sorry. You need to find something to do when you are bored (preferably something active), incorporate more fruits and veggies into your diet, stay away from high fructose corn syrup, sugar, animal fats, and complex carbs (pastas and breads, for example–eat IN MODERATION), stick to about a 2,000 calorie diet if you are male and 1,800 calories a day if you are female, and move! Start with a 30 minute brisk walk once a day (easily incorporated into a lunch hour), and work up to more. Get an mp3 player to make it more fun. For weight loss, aim for 1 lb a week.

Always eat half of your normal portion.Drink plain water (soft drink has high content of sugar which makes you fat)before each of your meal to give you the full feeling so you wouldn't take much after that.Exercise half an hour at least a day.Watch your diet.Don't go for oily food.Grilled ,fried ,barbecued food are bad ,not only for weight but also your skin.Skip meat and eat more vegies.Too salty a food retains water in your body hence avoid salty stuff.Don't sit while you can stand as standing also burns out calories.Don't drive while you can walk.Grap every chance to walk be it a short distance.Good luck.

Im a flyer too and heres what i do (and no im not anorexic i just want to be small and fit). I drive my self to school so in the morning i have one of those mini campbell's soups that you can take like in the car and drink. I personally have the chicken and stars flavor because its the least calories (only 70, 15 from fat). During the day i drink those flavored carbonated waters that have no calories because they fill your stomach and make you not hungry. At lunch i drive my friends to places they want to eat but i bring a Cliff Bar from home and eat that. Somedays i dont want a cliff bar for lunch so i just tell my friends i dont feel good but the bars add nutrition that you are depriving yourself of so its better to eat them.

Whatever you do just make sure you eat breakfast because that is what kickstarts your matabolism after sleeping all night.

If you really want the process to go faster eat what i put above every other day and on the other days just drink one of the flavored carbonated waters so your stomach doesnt grow all day.

I mean if you'd eat enough fruit, vegetables, and fish and drink only water so you'd still have 1200 calories, then would you lose weight fast? and.. healthy, sort of? I mean without having your metabolism
slow down?

Well depending on your weight now, you will lose weight. But if your fairly skinny now and only eat fruit, it will be harder to get the weight off because of the sugar content in the fruit. Vegetables might be a better option for losing weight, or a balance of both.

I see so many questions on how can i lose weight fast, what is the easiest way to lose weight. This is what I have to say..

I personally battled the bulge after my first pregnancy (for about a year) and I have learned through the years that the best way to keep off the weight is by proper EATING HABITS and EXCERCISE. It isnt that difficult if you think about it. Its just that most people cant control what they put in their mouths. Its like if the food CONTROLS THEM, not the other way around. If people would measure their portions and count their calories they wouldnt be asking this constantly.

Sorry to sound so harsh but seriously if you want to lose weight then stop drinking SODA, keep snacks to a minimum and if you do snack dont snack on chocolate, chips, candy and pastries those are all NO NOs. Eat sensible healthy snacks. I dont need to list them because everyone knows that they are. Drink WATER and milk (nonfat or 1%), both are crucual for weight loss and weight management.
There is nothing wrong with a having a snack heare and there either. Its just when people start making it a habit that the waist starts to expand.
When eating fast food. Instead of ordering a regular size meal, order a kids meals, less calories, you can take it even further, instead of a sugary drink, drink water and instead of fries eat apple slices or applesauce.
If you eat pizza, eat a cheese thin crust, not the regular dough to many carbohydates. Limit youself to 2 pieces plus a salad.
There are ways around eating, where you can pretty much eat what you want it should just be done in MODERATION.

I agree, soda is a killer. Also, drink lots of cold cold water. That makes you burn more calories because you body is trying to burn calories to make the water to your body temperature.

Have about 5 small meals a day. If you get bored by exercising or walking, just dance to your favorite music! If you do that, time will pass by alot quicker.

If you like snacks, take half of what you eat. Just eat enough until you are satisfied. You don't have to eat until you are "so full that you can't eat anymore" besides, it takes an extra 3 minutes until your stomach tells you its full.

You will have more energy, higher metabolism. Try taking your daily vitamins to. Especially you women out there, we need that calcium and iron!

There is no "fast" way of losing weight unless you do it unsafely. You need a steady eating routine and by skipping a meal and starving yourself, will throw your body off and you'll end up stuffing your face later and gaining weight.

So with that in mind, eat healthy food. Eat chicken or fish instead of red meat..eat a lot of salad. Do small things too like switch from regular soda to water, and change ice cream to frozen yogurt. Instead of eating chips, try carrots or popcorn (The kind thats fat free) Making healthier choices will help cut down calories and help you lose weight.

Also for six pack abs, the best thing to do are crunches
