I have 2 weeks to lose weight for a few days,yes i know healhy food and excersise but its a lil too late for that.Dont say just eat healthy food and excerise because i will do that AFTER those few days.And i cant do south beach or atkins i can only either starve or eat like a certain kind of food (not special K)

in two weeks i have to attend this formal gathering and i have to wear a formal dress. i want to look slim enough to look good at it. im 5'5 and weights 150lbs. it weight real heavy huh. i would need a really good advice on what to do. excercise? diet? anything thats affordable. thanks!

Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy.

It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.

The way not to do it is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did….lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won't help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don't eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i'm going pretty well if i don't say myself. 90 LBS isn't anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice. If I, ride my bike for one hour a day, and walk at 4 mph for 45 minutes on a treadmill, and jog for 30 minutes a day. im a slow jogger…so take that into consideration.
along with it will be a healthy diet with lots of water to clean out my system, since i never drunk water before. I'm not looking for a quick fix, but I'm curious as to how much weight I will lose in 2 weeks if I did all that for 6 days a week,a nd one day for rest.

oh and along with that, if i did, pushups, and crunches and lunges and things like that every other day.

I will be going on vacation in 2 weeks and would like to drop some pounds, nothing major but a little something so I can fit nicely in my swimsuit. i am a vegetarian and i hardly have the time to exercise. i'm kinda over weight right now. i need to lose some fat!!! :P.. erm, i'm a very busy person and hardly have the time to exercise. i'm a vegetarian too but i do eat eggs.

2 weeks? Not likely.

Eat more protein, make time to exercise (it's not that difficult…you'd had enough time to write this question and read the responses), and do 30 minutes of cardio every day.

Well, it depends on your body's metabolism but you shouldn't be losing more than 2 pounds a week. Also much of what you lose in the first few weeks of dieting is generally water.
