How do i lose weight fast?

I was wondering about some faster ways to lose weight. Any ideas that may work or have worked for you?
you do NOT need to lose weight FAST, you just need to lose weight
people who need to lose weight fast (like wrestlers getting ready to weigh in for their weight class) do all kinds of stupid and unhealthy things that are really not good for you
you need to find an exercise and eating (notice I didn't say DIET) plan that works for you; if you are 13 you will probably need help from an adult (like Mom) to buy the right foods for/with you and maybe create a reward system that gives you an incentive to stick with it
generally people can lose about a pound a week and feel good, a pound is about 3,500 calories of food energy, so if you cut down portions and control the snacks enough to cut back about 500 cal. a day that is about right
kids your age can get a tremendous amount of calories from bad snacks and sugary drinks loaded with high fructose corn syrup
try making yourself tea (with tea bags) and put it in the fridge to make iced tea; tea is actually good for you and you can add some sugar to it to taste good but yuo will still cut out most of the calories from bad soft drinks because you just can't get that amount of sugar that they use to dissolve in cold tea
the hardest part in changing your life is just making the decision that you really want to change, everything else is easier than that first step
There are millions of American kids that are in the same situation as you because of our bad habits with portion sizes and being lazy.
You also need to find a strenuous physical activity that you actually enjoy, it might just be walking. Walking is REALLY good for you. Start with just going around the block a couple of times and build up more each day and you will soon be walking for miles without realizing it. Try to get a friend into it with you. The next step is resistance training to build muscle stregth and burn more cal all day long. Lifting hand weights or using machines at a club is a good way to get started safely.
Pretty soon your friends will be asking you for advice!

The problem with losing weight fast, is often it's just water weight and not the weight you want to lose(fat). The three best areobic exercises are running, biking and swimming. If you alternate those 3 exercises daily for atleast 30-60 minutes per day while eating a healthy low fat diet you will probably see some weight loss within a weeks time, depending on your metabolism.
